Ashiatsu is by far my favorite type of massage to receive. It is a slow moving deep tissue massage, is very relaxing, and removes tight knots without any pain or discomfort. However, if it has been quite some time since your last massage, and maybe you are feeling a little sore from workouts, I know your body can benefit from adding some stretching at the end of the massage.
Thai table massage is often called lazy man’s yoga because it passively stretches the client. The benefit of table Thai is that it can sometimes balance out the sedated feeling that you feel after your deep tissue Ashiatsu massage. Also, once all your knots are massaged out it feels nice to have someone stretch your muscles. After all, your muscles are in the best shape to receive the stretching. This stretching will also enhance your flexibility.
Ashiatsu massage followed by table Thai stretching presents the best of both massage practices with added benefits. Win win👍
